BANANAS

Over the past 2 weeks we've started Ethan on rice cereal, trying to incorporate solid foods into his diet.  He wasn't a big fan but did his best to make his mom happy.  However, on Friday we started Ethan on bananas and I am happy to report that he loves them.  He goes nuts and continually tries to dive head-first into the spoon.  He isn't happy until he is covered in the bananas.  We tried to keep it clean but in addition to eating them, he also thoroughly enjoys wearing them.  It's so cute!  Then yesterday we tried out some pears... not as enthusiastic as the bananas but still a very positive outcome.  Next comes apples and after that, we'll begin some veggies.  Keep your fingers crossed for us.  I don't want to know what happens when we find one he doesn't like.

    Ethan,

Based on your Mom's comments in Loo's Blog, it sounds like you are becoming the master of the "face plant". I always told your Mom when she was growing up that if you are going to do something give it 200%, and try to do the best you can. It sounds like you are well on your way. Only 9 days and counting until I get to see you. I can't wait.

    Love,
Your Rockin' Grandpa (Papa or Nonno are alternates)
