Little Fishy
This past weekend we were very busy; we went to a free country-western concert at the Texas State History Museum and walked around a few of the museum exhibits, we went out shopping and finally, we went to our friend's house for swimming and dinner. They have a really nice pool in their backyard so after watching most of a mostly boring World Cup Final, we headed over to their place.
This is the second time now that E has been swimming in a big pool. He loves it so much. He's such a little water baby. He goes from his mommy to his daddy... he likes to stand up on the steps and hold onto the wall. We still haven't dunked his head under water yet. He just doesn't seem ready. I wouldn't want his giant smile to go away while he's playing... it's just too cute. I have a feeling when we do start teaching him to swim, he'll take off like a little fishy.
After about an hour he started getting a little fussy, and a bit pruney... so we took him out of the water and gave him some apple juice and hung out talking and listening to some music. He drank his juice and fell asleep very quickly in his pack-n-play, wiped out from his day of fun in the sun.
We must do that again... and next time bring the camera.
